Are you a new RN grad or an experienced RN? We are currently searching for Full Time Registered Nurses to work nights 6:30pm-7am.

The primary purpose of the RN is to provide direct and individualized nursing care to residents.  The RN will work as part of the nursing team to assess resident needs, plan and modify care and implement interventions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of and follows Aloria Health's operating procedures and policies
  • Establishes collaborative working relationships with the multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, behavioral health specialists, dietitian and expressive therapists
  • Monitors and/or implements safe, quality health care in the following areas: Medication administration, Prescribed client care/medical treatments, Accurate transcription of physicians' orders and/or prescriptions, Lab orders
  • Adheres to standards of care surrounding regular medical, dental, and vision requirements, and monitoring of weights and heights of clients
  • Completes all required documentation according to policies and procedures
  • Completes a Nursing Assessment at the time of admission per established guidelines and utilizes this information in the development of the client's treatment plan
  • Re-assesses the client's needs on an ongoing basis throughout stay, and implements individualized nursing care based on each client's needs
  • Develops treatment plans based on identified problems and goals
  • Accurately implements physician's orders and medication orders
  • Provides education to client on medication, infection control, lab work, health issues and their individual educational needs
  • Maintains a therapeutic relationship with the clients

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE an equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.

  • Registered Nurse with a current Wisconsin license
  • Will consider new RN graduates, in addition to experienced RN's.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical- surgical setting, is preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in mental health, particularly with Eating Disorders and Substance Abuse, is preferred

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS of this position are generally as follows:

  • Assists with occasional supervision of Licensed Practical Nurses, as needed
